Dot Dot Smile is a company aimed towards moms of little girls ages 6 months to 10 years. The company makes dresses with different patterns on them and there are three different styles of the dresses. The first is the most sought after – The Ballerina. With a criss-cross back, v-neck, and quarter sleeves, this dress will make you daughter feel like a princess. The skirt is rounded just enough that when she spins around, the fabric will lift to achieve the absolute perfect twirl. This same twirl effect happens with all of our dresses. The next style is the Lucy Cap Sleeve, it is a scoop neck with small puffed cap sleeves for those times where you want a more classic dress look. The same twirl exists in this dress as well and the skirt is a little longer than the ballerina so when she spins, the twirl is bigger. The bigger the twirl, the happier the girl. The last, but certainly not least, is the Lucy Tank. This is a coop neck tank dress and is perfect for summer time and play time. This dress is for the girl who wants to play outside all day and isn’t afraid to play in the dirt. These dresses are made to play in. The material on most of our dresses is a very slinky and breathable material designed for maximum comfort.
Our dress designs are hand picked by the owner, Nicole, and she is part of every aspect of the dress making from the process of design all the way to quality control once they’ve been made. She is the daughter of the famous
LulaRoe founder, DeAnne Stidham, and so running a business runs in the family. Nicole knows what it takes to work hard and wants to help other moms as well, that’s why if you want to order one of her dresses, you will have to buy it from a merchandiser in your area or online. The business runs on independent merchandisers that are moms just like you. This makes our brand personal because it helps moms run their own businesses and share our products in their own time and their own personal experience. Dot Smile Dress Styles
The
Ballerina
The
Ballerina style is the
most popular of the Dot Dot Smile dresses. With its quarter sleeves and famous
crisscross back, it is perfect for the girl who just loves to dance. The bodice
has a cinched neckline and a rounded piping. The skirt then is gathered at the
waist in order to create the perfect twirl when dancing. This is how all of our
dresses skirts are - the ballerina dress’ skirt is the shortest of them all.
However, none of the others have such a cute and yet sophisticated crisscross
back.
The
Cap Sleeve
The
Classic Cap is the original of the
three styles as it was the first to be made when we collaborated with Lularoe.
It is just a simple rounded neckline with short cap sleeves that sometimes make
a “puffed” appearance on small shoulders. The skirt is gathered exactly the
same as the others, except it is a bit longer than the
Ballerina, which means
it makes a wider twirl when dancing!
Tank Dress
Lastly, our
Tank dress is our most
popular dress during the summer months, it is sleeveless and adorable. It has a
longer skirt like the cap sleeve, but is made to keep your girl cool during
those hot summer days. It is the most playful dress out of the three because of
its casual look and slinky material. It is very breathable and comfortable for
all her wonderful adventures.

is so glad to have each and every one of you on board. We are introducing our
own line of leggings soon and might get backlash from other companies due to
our products being a bit higher priced. This is because the material and design
of the leggings is much more high quality than what you would get at chain
stores. Each and every design goes through the hands of Nicole and she hand
picks every single one. After the leggings are finished, she then has a quality
control team check them as well before we send them to you, the merchandisers.
If you have been with us long enough, you may have remembered in the beginning
when merchandisers told you some of your Ballerina dresses were backordered. This was due to the fact
that quality control did not feel comfortable with how they turned out and sent
them back to be redone. We care about our product from concept to when it is in your hands.
Our leggings are on the left while our competitor’s leggings are on the right. Notice that our leggings are slimmer fitting and have a specific design on them. The slim fitting fabric is what makes them breathable, but at the same time still warm. The competitor’s leggings are cotton fabric, and while comfortable as well, do not do well for shape and they also have a bland variety of solid colors. Our colors are bright and fun – including our solids! But the main difference comes down to the quality of the fabric, our leggings are so soft and durable that they will last a while when taken care of properly. This also helps little girls be able to grow while wearing them. Our competitors have variety of sizes because there leggings are made to fit for a short time.
